Cape String’s first offering is the City of Cape Town’s Strengthening Families Programme, an award-winning initiative described as proactively reinforcing domestic structures.

It brings families into secure, structured recreational gatherings where shared bonding, peer pressure management, mutual respect, non-violent discipline, communication coaching, music and art can work together. Select participating parents may also connect with the municipality’s Expanded Public Works Programme for employment opportunities.
